Striving to constantly innovate and grow while meeting business objectives, KPMG in India recently deployed emerging technologies viz., Bots, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), and voice-based digital assistants – bringing together a smart combination of skilled human resources and digital workers.
The recent project on digital transformation included implementing RPA in a number of Finance and Tax-related processes, thereby eliminating the most time-consuming and tedious manual processes as well as saving numerous man-hours and efforts.
Taking a step further, KPMG also implemented voice-based digital assistant, configuring it with specialised skills for specific requirements. For instance, it has been integrated with analytics so users can request the digital assistant for key metrics or key KPIs using simple voice commands.
Based on Artificial Intelligence, ChatBot has also been deployed within the firm. Available via an instant messaging tool on both web and mobile, the chat bot enables users to resolve queries related to IT, HR, Risk, Knowledge Management, and other support functions. The Bot has also been integrated with a business intelligence backend to respond to queries on key KPIs.
