“We believe that the world is going to be a hybrid IT. This will involve both on premise and cloud infrastructure. This decision is not a technology decision but will be decided on what kind of workload you want to run where,” says Y Vikram Kumar, country manager-Technology Services Support, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise India at CIO100 2017.
“According to a survey by IDC, 27 percent of CIOs' or IT team's time is spent on innovation. It is predicted that this will increase to 76 percent by 2020. So if a CIO wants to spend time on innovation, they need to free up their bandwidth to move into the innovation space and HPE will be able to manage the operations seamlessly,“ says Kumar.
