Mani Mulki has been appointed as the new chief information officer of Tata Capital early this month. He joins the financial service provider from IFFCO where he was responsible for the UAE operations, and also headed the IT function for 10 countries.
Mulki’s key focus will be on digitization and he is keen on capitalizing the booming fintech market with technology playing a pivotal role. “I moved primarily because of the Tata brand, and for the opportunity to work in a rising sphere. And technology is going to play a pivotal role in its transformation story,” he says.
In a career spanning over three decades, Mulki has been with ICICI Bank heading its digital channels, Pidilite Industries as its IT head. But it was at Godrej Industries where he spent 22 years of his career, heading the IT division and was on the advisory role for the Godrej Group of Industries.
