Though it may not be a leadership characteristic, it will certainly allow informed decisions through an insight into the marketplace. The fact remains that heuristics is surely influenced by the social environment, but it also has thousands of centuries of evolution processes behind it, so while our racial preferences may be due to environmental influences, our fixation with using only one piece of information to make decisions, is due to our evolving brain. And that information should be utilized for understand business behaviors.

To develop products, you really need to be close to the market. It is very difficult to sit in India and imagine what a customer in Silicon Valley wants, or vice versa, he said. According to him, India is also favourable because it provides ground to leverage innovation. Work can be easily done in India at a much lesser cost. At the same time, this increases the chances of growth because if a company would spend double the amount in R&D, the work would still be done in half of what it would cost in the US.
