Venu Reddy is the general manager of IDC CCR, IDC's global center of excellence, and leads the research teams to orchestrate IDC's research across all of its information and communications technology areas.

Venu Reddy is the general manager of IDC Center for Consultancy and Research (IDC CCR), IDC's global center of excellence based in Bangalore. Reddy plays an anchor role at building practices that can be leveraged by IDC teams across the globe with the help of research and support teams in India. He leads and guides the research teams to orchestrate IDC's research across all of its information and communications technology areas.
 
With extensive regional and global experience in the IT services industry, Reddy gives a distinctive perspective on the dynamics and trends driving digital enterprises in India. Reddy’s thought leadership has helped IDC in providing valuable market analysis, intelligence and advice for the growth of businesses in India and abroad. In addition to developing a deep understanding of the marketplace, he works closely with analysts and IT leaders across the region to develop specific insights on addressing enterprise IT requirements. 
 
During his earlier assignments at IDC when he served as a senior consulting manager, Reddy was responsible in leading the market research and analysis for various consulting projects in the Asia/Pacific. Prior to joining IDC, Reddy worked as market analysis and planning manager at Electronic Data Systems and tracked the market dynamics across various industries in the Asia/Pacific region. He also held leadership roles at AMI-Partners and Harris Interactive later on. Reddy holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Nevada-Reno in the US.
