As we enter a new year, a lot of new technologies and innovations are expected to come our way. However, the year that went by saw a lot of CIO’s switching companies. Designation: International CIO, GE Transportation
Jagdish Belwal, before joining GE Transportation as International CIO, was with Tata Motors for eight years, where he held multiple managerial positions ranging from Construction Equipment Field Service, Commercial Vehicle Service HQ, Head of CRM before taking over as CIO in March 2009.
Name: Aniruddha Paul
Designation: CIO, ING Direct Australia
Paul, an IIT/IIM graduate, has over two decades of experience with business, technology and operations, including leadership experience in IT driven business transformation. Prior to joining ING Direct Australia, he was with Exide Life Insurance as CTO.
Name: Gopinath Jayaraj
Designation: CIO, Tata Motors
Prior to joining Tata Motors, Jayaraj was at Whirlpool as Vice President - Global Technology and Engineering Center, where he headed Whirlpool's captive center(GTEC), providing IT, Engineering, product development and technology services to the Global corporation for the last three years. Prior to that he was part of Tata Technologies for more than 12 years.

Designation: CIO and VP-IT, Welspun Corp. Ltd
Business and IT leader with 21 year experience in manufacturing, strategy, sustainability and IT, Pant has an excellent track record of delivering result driven Technology Solutions. After 21 year stint at Larsen & Toubro, Pant moved to Welspun Corp. Ltd in June 2017.

Designation: CDTO, Future Corp
Veteran technology leader Rao who was appointed as the Chief Digital Transformation Officer of retail major Future Group, will drive transformation initiatives across the group. He was the Head-IT of FMCG Company Marico, where he served for more than a decade.
Name: Anthony Thomas
Designation: CIO, Nissan
The former CIO of GE Global, Anthony Thomas was appointed as CIO (Chief Information Officer), Global IS/IT Nissan. Thomas with his expertise and experience in the field for more than a decade will focus on leveraging digital tools at the Japanese car manufacturing company. In GE Global, he managed digital and information technology initiatives for all markets outside the U.S. He has held several key positions at companies such as Vodaphone India, Citi and Ernst & Young.

Designation: CISO, NPCI
With over 16 years of experience in the field of information and cyber security, Mathan has handled various roles- from handling account management and technology sales to holding various profiles in developing and rolling security services. Kasilingam was appointed as the new Chief Information Security Officer at National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) in November last year.
