A high performance infrastructure boosts ERP performance

Executive Summary

Adhunik, a steel and cement manufacturing giant, wanted to improve the performance of business processes to support finance, store, costing, procurement, production, delivery, and project management. Over 80 percent of the company’s products are made to order. Monitoring every stage of the production cycle and having access to real-time information on each process would reduce the complexities of processes, in turn increasing operational efficiencies and decreasing overheads.

To effect this transformation, Adhunik needed a high performance infrastructure to support their mission-critical applications. The infrastructure needed to be upgraded so that it could offer high availability and would be scalable, and help boost the performance of the company’s ERP system. Read how Sanjeev Kumar, group CIO and president for business excellence, led this change.
