End-to-end IT overhaul helps Carnation improve customer satisfaction

Executive Summary

With a virtually non-existent third-party automotive services sector, India, one of the fastest growing car markets in the world, was ripe for Carnation's intervention. Maruti icon Jagdish Khattar, Carnation Auto HubCarnation's founder, is setting the benchmark in this business in India. Carnation has recognized early that information technology will play a critical role in achieving its vision 2012 - to become a complete auto solutions provider of choice to customers across the country.

"The company hadn't even started commercial operations, but decided to invest in such a tool (as SAP) with management buy-in," said Carnation CIO Mohit Agarwal. "It is a clear indication that technology is a critical component our business model."
