NAC has several primary user scenarios that are simple to understand but that rely on  various technical approaches that can be challenging to design and deploy correctly. This document is intended to lay out the most common use cases, the technical approaches most appropriate for each case, and to call out some of the typical problems with each of these approaches. The research for this document comes from an aggregation of customer and prospect interactions, input via direct conversations and articles with several industry analysts and press, and of course many conversations with internal experts at McAfee.
