Most large IT external service providers (ESPs) have virtualization consulting offerings, but their experience, focus and target markets differ, says independent market researcher, Gartner. In this paper, Gartner explores the services provided by nine vendors who briefed the researcher on their virtualization service capabilities and provided customer references. While the paper, Gartner says, is not an indicator of vendor rating, ranking or evaluation, the research highlights the virtualization service capabilities of the profiled ESPs.
