VMware virtualization software has been adopted by over 20,000 enterprise IT organizations worldwide. Contain server sprawl by running software applications in virtual machines on fewer, highly scalable, reliable enterprise-class servers. Consolidating underutilized servers lowers capital costs by reducing the need to buy additional hardware for new projects, and removing servers from the data center enables a proportional reduction in operational costs for power, cooling and floor space. This paper clarifies how adopting VMware infrastructure as a fundamental IT strategy helps organizations achieve their cost- and space-saving goals.

The Aruba Networks S3500 Mobility Access Switch is an integral part of the Aruba Mobile Virtual Enterprise (MOVE) architecture, which centralizes network access policies, security, traffic forwarding and management using a consistent set of services for wired and wireless, regardless of location, user, device or connection type.
The S3500 makes network operations more efficient while providing users with the seamless connectivity that they expect wherever they work or roam.
The S3500 uniquely supports three flexible deployment modes. As a wired access point, all ports on the S3500 are configured to tunnel traffic to a centralized Aruba Mobility Controller where the access network services, including authentication and policy enforcement, reside. Optionally, the S3500 supports a full complement of Layer 2 and Layer 3* (roadmap) forwarding protocols, and ports may be configured for local forwarding. Deployment modes are configured on a port-by-port basis.

The E-series MSM access points from HP are advanced wireless devices that provide consistent, easy-to-manage connectivity that expands an organization's existing network. Ranging from single-radio IEEE 802.11n/a/b/g to dual 802.11 n/a/b/g and a/b/g access points, it maintains the network without interruption and reduces bottlenecks and complexity by determining where data needs to go throughout the network. The E-series MSM access points and RF Security sensor require a single Power over Ethernet (PoE)-cable drop, and are IEEE 802.3af compliant, supporting a plug-and-play automatic configuration
