Hexaware wanted all the account managers to be part of the annual organizational planning and eliminate excel-based planning. For this, Hexaware automated its annual organizational planning and budgeting process. Hexaware built a centralized repository and a systematic bottom-up approach and then rolled up at vertical, geo, horizontal and organizational levels. This was initiated for revenue planning and was further extended for costs too.
With the expansion, the whole organization-level planning was automated, centralized and reported. Any updates, corrections or resubmissions are now done through the system. The workflow enabled the company to have notifications and status updates. The projected benefited the company by reducing the cycle time. With automation, the whole budgeting process was completed for the entire organization in just 20 days with sufficient preparations in terms of data from the respective teams.
