The best foundation for a digital future is a robust, reliable and secure IT framework. Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services was on the lookout for the same.
The company implemented a comprehensive information technology framework for a digital landscape focusing on business analytics, enterprise platforms, mobility, cloud, network and security. This includes implementation of BPM, CRM, ESB, BI, and MADP platforms and on-premise cloud, SaaS solutions. As it is a financial services company, the digital security framework (NAC, WAF, MDM, web gateway), adoption of standards such as IPv6 and PCI DSS was also prime focus. The project was implemented on a massive scale across 800+ locations, 1000+ network links, almost 20,000 devices, and over 40 applications.
The project also enables a smoother rollout of a mobile-first organization approach, readying the company for a BYOD scenario. The robust network infrastructure with internet-based access for users, readies the company for a ‘work from anywhere’ scenario. Finally, it enabled controlled integrations for ecosystem-based business models.
