Employee engagement and feedback generation is a cumbersome process due to the large number of employees across India. The organization implemented an artificial intelligence (NLP based) chat bot that regularly interacts with its employees and helps the HR understand sentiments.
This further enables in creation of knowledge base and corrective actions and policies. At the core, the long term objective was to create rich, meaningful data sets that could yield strategic opportunities. Using NLP allowed the organization to overcome logistical and interpersonal challenges, and focus on employee engagement with more maturity.
The conversational chatbot is able to elicit responses and a higher response rate than an engagement survey. It is able to understand the sentiment behind the answers and can empathize and ask relevant follow up questions. It evaluates the mood index of the company to manage productivity, empowers management to retain top performers and helps HR devote time to more important issues.
